Preparation

     To become a RiderCoach theres alot of preparations that you must keep in mind to have before coming to the course. If you enroll in a course, be prepared to ride! Every day!  The required riding gear will include a DOT-approved helmet; over-the-ankle boots, long pants; long-sleeved shirt or jacket; and full-fingered gloves. Be prepared to set aside time during off-class hours to study. This is an intensive program that requires a lot of work and concentration. Do not enroll unless you can attend every class meeting. NYSMSP requires you complete a Basic RiderCourse prior to the RiderCoach Preparation course.

Cost For The Course
     By New York State law, there is no charge to a candidate for training to become a RiderCoach. Applicants are only responsible for their own traveling expenses. so schedulale a course at Tramas Auto School, where you can make a 7 consecutive day schedule, a 60 hours schedule, and a three-weekend schedule. NYSMSP RiderCoach Preps are usually conducted on the three weekend schedule: Friday night, all day Saturday and all day Sunday each weekend.
