Quick Note:

Payment in full is required with a signed application. The course day starts at 8:00 am to 12:45 pm or 1:00 pm to 5:45 pm and note the fact that weather conditions may require that adjustments be made to the course schedule. Failure to have proper riding gear, failure to be prepared to ride will result in dismissal from the course and the cancellation policy will apply.

The Basic Rider Course 2 (BRC2) was developed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation as a skill-polishing course for riders with at least three months riding experience. The workshop consists of a half day of instruction all taught by MSF certified instructors.

Some topics that are covered are risk management, the relationship between mental and physical riding skills, traction management and developing a riding strategy. Also you will practice proper cornering techniques, emergency straight line breaking ,stopping quickly in a curve, counter steering for cornering and the use of counterbalancing skills for tighter turns. The exercises combine to provide an understanding of motorcycle dynamics. You must provide your own motorcycle, full tank of gas, proof of registration and insurance and present your motorcycle licence. The motorcycle must have a current New York State Motorcycle Inspection. 

Cancellation Policy

There is a non-refundable $10.00 processing fee. Trama's Auto School Inc. Must receive one week's notice to cancel or to reschedule. If you cancel or reschedule with less than one weeks notice (7 Days) of your scheduled course date, you will forfeit $50 of the course fee. If you fail to show up on the day of your course, are unprepared to ride or fail to provide the documents listed above, you will forfeit the entire course fee. There will be no exceptions. There will be no make-ups or refunds for absences.
